If you’ve got a lot of lemons…you know what to do…make lemonade! I’ve come up with this lemonade ratio that satisfies my sweet to sour preference, which is sweet with a good tart kick.

2 cups fresh lemon juice

6 cups water

1 1/2 cups sugar

Boil water with sugar until dissolved (simple syrup). Put lemon juice in 3 quart or larger juice container, pour simple syrup immediately into lemon juice – stir and chill.

You can reduce/increase the amounts proportionally to the number of lemons you have.

Makes 2 quarts
