1 tsp. cinnamon

2 Tbsp. (or less) sugar

1 Tbsp. flour

Crumble topping

3/4 cup flour

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup rolled oats

1 tsp. cinnamon

6 Tbsp. butter, softened

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter an 8*8 in. baking pan that is 1.5 to 2 in. deep. Toss the apples with cinnamon, sugar and flour and place in pan. Combine the crumble topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of apples evenly. Bake for 30-45 minutes until apples are cooked and top is brown. Serve warm as is or hot with cream or ice cream on top to cool it off. Great reheated or cold as breakfast.
